The Asus Works … for me also

Like Dave Winer, I bought an Asus eee laptop for its weight … or lack of. I need to carry around a Lenovo T60p work machine that is built very very heavy. For my own laptop, I needed something that wouldn’t break my back or the bank and and went with Asus eee 900 16 gig model running Xandros linux. While I would prefer an Ubuntu flavour of linux and some more up-to-date apps, Xandros on the eee just works as it should. There are some new similar form factor laptops coming out soon, but for the money, the Asus eee line is hard to beat.
